UNLIMITED TRAINER RACES MAY 19

SORRY FOR THE SHORT NOTICE but a few of us are going to give it a go.

Any high wing trainer ,any engine (motor's are electric] unless enough show up for there own class , would be fun !

Most of you know how it works. Not planing on race horse starts but will see if anyone shows up

Unofficial flier's for trainer race are going out tomorrow. It is going to happen. Need someone to drop one off at Mark Twain .

Well gents it is on the table. Preperations for the trainer race are on the way.As you all know we need helpers to make this a success. You all have computers , comunicate via this forum so at least we will know what to expect.If this fails our club will look mighty stupid.as you cn see this is not done by our elected officials.
Captai Jim , anything on the website???? Guess NOT. You are the only guy who can do it. 4weeks befor an event and nothing on the club website? Unheard of.
By the way, jim you can delete the thing about monthly meetings. People travel miles to attend a meeting and than it gets cancelled even though members are present.... that is frogshit!!!!!!!

I will try to get my texan going again by then .I would like to here that there will be more than two. INSPIRATION is all I need. It has alway's been a good time at the races!

I would like to set the pylon's this weekend for the trainer races. Give everyone a bit of practice time before the FIRST race of the season ! AMA is all you need to come out and CHECK IT OUT.

I got my Texan ready Rob, dont kow how she will handle the modification i did. Lets go and find out.This weekend might be good enough to try it. I am looking forward to it.

Also I would like to interject. (BIG WORD), races should be started from the ground on a starting line, instead of a flying start. Seems to me that the dude in the lucky spot wins. Start from a line on the ground as REAL Pylon races do. Makes it more even, exciting, and more leaning to the best pilot and airplane, instead if the one who is luckiest to be at the line when the horn blows. What is the reason for a flying Start? Unlimited is cool, but what about the dudes that just have a 40 or 46 on their trainer? Guess I could mount a Jet Cat 160, but the fuel tank would not be big enough to make 10 laps

four Planes in each heat, Flip for starting lanes?

Before you till us ( or me ?) how to run a race you have to participate. (or even fly) Bill, it does take a bit of skill to do a count down start,but no big deal if you have ever done it. I do not see any reason for a race horse start. Another club in the area is going to try and I will be there racing (will you? ) .



Pylons are up for practice ! 2 PYLON COARSE SET AT 660' (give or take a bit )

I am looking forward to the first race of the season. I wiil fly a 20 if it would make you feal better Bill.
