    Sunday Sunday, SUNDAY!!!

Post  Bill Harris on Sun Feb 08, 2009 6:57 am

Gonna be a GOOD day TATER! Hey Rob, got the fuel demons out of my tank I THINK? I'll elaborate tomorrow. Still think it is a little too rich, may have to take the factory stop off of the high speed needle valve. It is an Evolution engine with the factory boogers on it. Anyhow lets look at the field, and make sure that we don't do any heavy duty damage to it. It may be soft and muddy, but a lot of guys want to fly. Maybe we can take off from Lenny's Driveway! Twisted Evil I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud or anything, but we DO have to preserve the integrity of the field without pissing anyone off. And NO we can't take off from the parking lot!! But, believe me we will find a way! Lots of food, and good people showing up Sunday, lets make it fun and as enjoyable as it has been for the last few weeks Very Happy

Planes flew today. It is really muddy, better than friday though. Not much standing water.
We need to respect the field and not think that one trip over it with the roller will take
out all the footprints in the mud.

I hope everyone understands the conditions we are trying to fly under.

    See everyone tomorrow.

C'mon out dude. Good times, good food, and a lot of flying. Gonna have Chicken Noodle soup, and Beef Vegetable Soup, and most likely Hot Dogs, and condiments. A Little Guitar, Kerosene Heat, and a lot of flying fun Laughing Laughing The engineer guys make me look forward to every Sunday, because they like to FLY!!! Don't matter how cold, or how windy, or what the field conditions are, they will find a way to fly. It is rubbing off on all of us. That is what we are out there for. See Ya Sunday!? Bring a Plane. They still fly even though it is cold outside. Bring Sarah too and Henry is more than welcome. Looking forward to seeing You. By the way, I think I have a picture or two of a 3D being shot down by a Warbird lol! lol! See You snd Sarah Sunday????

Chime in Dudes. Gonna fly or what?! Field can't be any worse than it was last week, and it actually was pretty good. Still gotta respect the field for the other members that don,t fly in the bad times. ROB, I'm putting you on the spot to help us out, and as far as I am concerned you have the FINAL decision as to whether we fly or not. No one else seems to care! I Guess we will have to make a final decision on Sunday.

I think that who ever wants to fly should be able to but keep in mind that damage to the field from foot holes ect, is a lot of work for other members of the club to fix. So I guess the deal is tread lightly and try to takeoff / land on the least soggy part of the field. Also replace your divits. I dont particularly want to fly b/c I am sick of picking mud out of my airplane, till it dires up a bit I am going to go to buder and scare them to death instead of you guys.

I'll try and make it out there this Sunday, I work nights on the weekends (4:00pm) so my flying is limited.
Oh yeah, I have nothing against warbirds or the people who fly them. I just like the Calvin series p!$$!ng on stuff! Very Happy. And since I don't own any warbirds yet I choose this one.
But it is true I'm a Hovering Homo!LOL...

So anyone know what happened to Midwest Airwing?
